I am not the person who only knows studying and working, I also try my best to enrich my lifetime.

 

· Volunteer

Compared with doing a job, volunteer is a faster and more convenient way for me to learn in different area and increase my work experience. My first volunteer experience started at nine years old, when I collected donations in companies for my schoolmate with leukaemia. During the experience, I had to encouraged myself to knock on the door, talk to the adults who were much taller than me and tried to get as much as I could. After the first time, I was fascinated by the way of practice. And in the following years, I did volunteer jobs as actor, receptor, and propagandist. In 2013, I did a volunteer job as a receptionist of Victoria university delegation in Liaoning university. Through three days of work, I got plenty of information of Victoria university, and built my aspiration of studying abroad. I not only dad fun on these experiences, but also got the skills that I cannot got from the school. I received the communication skills that can describe things briefly and clearly, as well as talk with people in good manner; in addition, I developed an effective time management skill, to prioritize work to ensure it is completed in a timely manner. In my future work, these abilities can effectively helped me to communicate politely with clients to satisfy them, make less mistakes in the work, and manage the time is a more skillful way.
 

·Religion and traditional culture study

I am not only concentrate on the material life, the abandon of spiritual life is also important for me. I became a Buddhist since 2009, and was deeply affected by the religious doctrine and sprit in my personal life. The doctrine of Buddhism taught people to not take advantages, believe in people, and be nice to others. By learning from this, I was believe in karma, and tried to be nice and tried my best on my own work instead of being lazy when I used to be. The karma did come because of my effort. I became one of the most popular students in my class, and won several of honours in competition, such as the excellent league member, I also won a good fame and made more friends because of my effort. Since I learnt Buddhism and Chinese traditional culture, I started to connect with some master in these areas. With my effort, I earned the honour to enter into the Chinese traditional architecture and culture association, which is an association to discuss the co-development of members in religion and traditional culture study, and became a director of this seminar. As a director, I entered some meetings and communicated with other people in academic exchanges; what’s more, I also attended the session of planning the direction and development of association, and benefit more Buddhists. On my spiritual path, I had gained something really useful for my career. I changed my personality into being kind and real when communicating with people, let me can build a high quality interpersonal relationship in my work place in the future. In addition, experience in the association enhanced my ability of negotiation and management, and also taught me how to be a good team leader, which were really benefited me in the later days.
